Along the Marlborough shore, holding fast to the rocks at low tide, is the seaweed Durvillea, named after the captain of the Astrolabe, Dumont d'Urville. This Pinot Gris is a blend of fruit parcels from the length and breadth of Marlborough made in a dry, mineral style to suit food and age well. In the glass find aromas of peach, light pear, citrus peel and a hint of spice. A medium-bodied palate with pear and peach flavours, mineral texture and a long finish. Match with salads, seafood, poultry and egg dishes - a versatile food wine that pairs particularly well with smoked salmon.

This is a smooth and fruit orientated Gimblett Gravels blend. Deep purple in colour, it has a bouquet of dried herbs, red berries and subtle hints of cedar from a period of barrel maturation.

Just like them used to make em'. Fat Bastard Chardonnay has an opulent, rich palate of grilled pineapple, spiced butterscotch and loaded with peach and apricot. Filled with macadamia and almond meal notes, the wine has a bright linear acid line bringing liveliness and freshness. Full bodied goodness.
